Actifit Report and Trump Assassination Attempt 2024

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been pretty busy since my previous update. I’ve posted twice, wrote a few more chapters in my book, and been exercising. I’ve also been a little distracted with the Trump assassination attempt.

In terms of exercising, I have bought an exercised bike. Working at home on the computer reduces my level of Activity. My biggest and most recent drop off in activity is not taking the long walks with Mango by the lake. An exercise bike seems like a simple and convenient solution. I have worked in half an hour of cycling into my daily routine. I’ll increase that when my fitness improves.

I can’t help but comment regarding the assassination attempt on Trump. It’s still too early to be confident about what actually happened. We know that it was a conspiracy of some sort. Broadly, there are three conspiracies, genuine assassination attempt by an external party, an inside job, or a fake assassination attempt.

There are a few things to consider. What was the desired outcome, i.e., Trump dead or alive. Who would be capable of such an attempt? Who stands to benefit from the outcome or the potential outcome of this assassination?

A second Trump presidency would be an inconvenience to the Establishment. Trump would be a less effective controlled opposition from within the White House. Killing Trump would have likely started a Civil War. This is something the Establishment have been working towards for a long time.

Trump surviving strongly rallies support behind him. It makes him the most likely candidate to win. Rigging the election for him to lose would likely trigger a civil war. In this scenario, Trump wouldn’t need to die. Both these outcomes could benefit the Establishment.

It is also possible it was an external party not linked to the Establishment. I think this is highly unlikely, but still possible. The external party would need to have intimate knowledge of the security at the venue without being in the security team. They would have instructed the shooter on when and where and to go to avoid detection. I don’t think this could be done with any confidence. It still would have needed security lapses.

Regardless of how or the intentions of the assassination team. The shooter was on a suicide mission. It would have been impossible to get off the roof alive. Was the shooter aware this would be the case? I somehow doubt this. He was to be sacrificed to protect the real masterminds behind this attempt.

My Content

My first post was about the results of the UK general election. As expected, it was a landslide victory for the Labour Party. What was less expected was the very few Labour votes obtained for the number of seats they won. The result was even more damming of the first-past-the-post voting system. There are very interesting times ahead.

In my second post, I started my annual Economics Challenge Series. It’s a little late and I barely promoted it. Normally, I post a few weeks beforehand where I explain the Challenge Series in some detail. This time, I only mentioned it in my monthly contests. Hopefully, it will still get a good turnout.

The first challenge is the Ice Cream Game. Participants need to select a place to put their ice cream stand to get the most customers. The prize is 5 Hive power multiplied by the number of participants up to a maximum of 60 Hive Power.

That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. The next challenge will begin soon. I recommend that you keep an eye on my page.
