Hi Everyone,
I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. I’ve had a busy week posting on Hive and writing chapters for the book. I have also just reached seven years on Hive. It’s just flown by. I didn’t even realise I had hit seven until I received the notification. Well, I knew it was the seventh year, but I had lost track of the anniversary date. I have been very occupied with my writing. I will write a post dedicated to this anniversary. After all, seven is my number.
My Content
I have written two posts since my previous update. The first post was about the upcoming UK general election and the second was the Sapien Loop quiz.
The UK has a maximum election cycle of 5 years. The previous election was 4 1/2 years ago at the end of 2019. The Conservative Party led by Boris Johnson won by a sizeable majority. This time, it will not happen.
Boris Johnson was a terrible Prime Minister. He locked down the country during the COVID fiasco. He used both deceptive and coercive tactics to make people accept a dangerous and ineffective jab. He provided military support to the most corrupt country in Europe. On top of that, he made a hash of Brexit. Ironically, he was ousted because he broke the ridiculous lockdown rules by having a party and eating cake.
Boris Johnson was replaced by Liz Truss who was forced to resign in under two months. She was replaced by Rishi Sunak who might be even worse than Boris.
The next election has already been won by the Labour Party. It is now a battle to be the opposition. The Conservative Party are favourites to win the second most seats, but Reform UK are quite likely to win more votes. However, they will probably only win a handful of seats. If the Reform UK Party continue to win over Conservative Party voters. The Lib Dems could win more seats than the Conservative Party. The outcome of this election is going to show how deeply flawed the first-past-the-post voting system is. I believe the system will be changed before the end of this decade. My post breaks down all of the above in some detail.
This month’s Sapien Loop quiz is up and running. It is the largest quiz so far. Questions are from the first three parts of the book. The quiz has nine instead of seven questions. The participants have ten days to find the answers in the book and to respond. So far, only two have entered, but that is not surprising considering the extent of the content this quiz covers.
That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. I’ll be back soon with a post celebrating my seven years on Hive. It has been fun. This is also a reminder to read Sapien Loop, there is 30 Hive Power up for grabs. I wish everyone a great week, I’ll see you soon.
