Hi Everyone,
This week has been a little different. Inspectors came round to check in on Hamlet the Happy Pig and Lily Goat. There are different rules for keeping what they consider as livestock than more traditional companions such as cats and dogs.
'Livestock' are typically not treated well on farms. As the name suggests, they are treated as stock. There are some very basic standards that need to be adhered to. That's why we had the visits from the inspectors. The first inspector inspected the area where Hammy and Lily live. The second inspector was a vet to check on Lily's health and welfare. We have one more inspector to visit regarding Hammy. We don't have a date for that yet, but I expect they will inform us just a day in advance.
So what did these inspectors do? Nothing much really. The first one was only here for about 5 minutes. He didn't even enter their area. He just briefly observed them, chatted about things in general, and mentioned the next inspector. Then he was on his way.
The next day, the next inspector came by. She also never even entered their area. She was here for just a couple of minutes. She observed Lily in her house and seemed satisfied. Overall the inspections were kind of strange and felt pointless. I guess it was very obvious how well we take of Hamlet and Lily.

I ran my first contest of the year. It was my auction contest. I have run this contest three times before. It had a good turn out with 16 participants. It looks we are back up to the numbers we were getting early last year.
The Auction Contest is simple to play. Participants bid on items. The highest bidder wins. I use an Excel model to generate the value of each item. The winning bid is subtracted from the value of the item. This is what the participants had gained. A participant may win several items. The gains or losses are summated to determine a participant's total gain or loss. The participant with the largest gain wins.
This contest did not have a winner. All the winning bids exceeded the value of each item. This is the first time that this contest failed to produce a winner. Many of the bids were ridiculously high. I included some tips at the end to help participant's for when this contest comes around again. It should be included in the Challenge Series in the third quarter of this year.
I have continued to update my Super Bowl predictions post. It was another good week for me. I predicted both conference championship games correctly. Just one game to go, and that's the Super Bowl, Chiefs vs. 49ers. At the moment, I'm quite torn. There are reasons for either side to win. I'll think this over. I'll have a prediction ready in a few days.
That wraps up this Actifit Report and Update. I wish everyone a fantastic weekend. If you have time, head over to Amazon to buy my awesome and amazing new book, Sapien Loop. This book will help open your eyes. I believe it could change your life for the better.
