Hello Everyone,

Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome from Bob and yours truly😹. It's Bob's day to claw 🐾 into the blockchain, so let all the kitties in the world have fun😹. Anyway, it's been a great day and as it fades away, I am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share some of the trending stories that made headlines. Thank you for reading and let's get started 💨.
So as usual, I kicked off early with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning and I enjoyed the fresh morning breeze.
Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a quick stop at the mall for groceries. Next, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of you tube and some soccer matches. As always the EPL had good matches.
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹, politicians exchanged words at the funeral of a freedom fighter🙀.
Globally, after 5 days of airstrikes and rockets; Palestinian factions and Israel have agreed on a ceasefire which has been brokered by Egypt. Let's hope that ceasefire lasts💯.
Let's go to Europe, where president Zelensky has stopped by in Italy, meeting the Prime minister and also the Pope as he seeks support for the ongoing war. Today Ukraine received 3 billion dollars worth of equipment from Germany.
Elsewhere in Liverpool, the finals of the Eurovision contests are underway. It's Ukrainian themed with blue and yellow as it was supposed to be held in Kyiv but because of the war, it's taking place in UK, may the best country win💯.
Across the pond in Haiti, people protested the lawlessness that is going on in the city. Gangs control 80% of the capital🙀 and people have had it, going as far as lynching suspected gang members.
Finally, in crazy weather, a powerful storm known as cyclone Mocha is going to be making landfall on Sunday evening around Bangladesh and Myanmar with winds of upto 175km/h 🙀.The only worry is for the Rohinga refugees who will have to be evacuated from their makeshift houses. Let's hope all will be well💯.
