Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Another wonderful and active day is fading away fast. Before bedtime 😴 let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and share some of the trending stories. Thank you for stopping by and here we go 💨.
I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning as I made my way. A short walk that I enjoyed and then I was back indoors thirty minutes later. I then rested for a while, caught up with emails, watched the news and then the usual chores around the house.
My next stepping came later in the afternoon going to the city centre for some errands. Still a beautiful sunny day as I made my way. It was nap time when I got back indoors, I woke up some time early evening and got on with the cooking, watching a little bit of news and youtube .Next came the evening or sunset walk, it looked like it would rain but it didn't and I made it back home safe and sound. Now let's quickly look at what has been trending in the news today.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet day.
However, Sudan trending as the fighting raged on between the sudanese army and the paramilitary group. The ceasefires have failed with both sides blaming each other🙀. Explosions and gunfire heard around the city.Thousands of people are fleeing the fighting as food becomes scarce. The water and electricity supply is also off in many areas. Many hospitals reported to be closed as they ran out of fuel for generators🙀. A dire situation is unfolding and something's gotta give.
Let's go to Ukraine where fighting is still raging in the city of Bakmut. Today Ukraine received it's first batch of the patriotic missile system 🎊, ready to block off some of those Russian missiles 💯.
Trending in China, twelve people have been detained for negligence following a fire at a hospital in Beijing. The fire was the worst the city has ever seen, killed 29 people 😭 and caused widespread destruction 🙀.
Finally, in crazy weather, a heatwave is sweeping across Asia with record temperatures reported🔥. In China 42 degrees, India 44 degrees, Bangladesh 40 degrees and Thailand, the hottest at 45 degrees🙀. All of it blamed on climate change.
