Hello everyone π,
Happy Tuesday π and a very warm welcome to my report π. It's been just another ordinary day stepping it out. Time to wrap things up and look forward to tomorrow. . Before that let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also what's trending in the media streets. As always thank you for stopping by and let's get started π¨.
So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking π£ around the neighborhood π². A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores. It's been quite sunny π the entire day even as i walked to the shopping centre in the afternoon as opposed to the cloudyβοΈ days we have been having lately.
I later had my usual nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans πΉ kept going, otherwise a quiet day. On the continent, UN secretary General Antonio Guterrez is visiting Somalia which is battling drought and conflict. Guterres is appealing for massive international financial support for the people in Somalia. Somalis make no contribution to climate change but are among its greatest victimsπ.
Globally, the IMF has released their global economic forecast, predicting a possible global recession π. Growth for this year expected to be at 2.8%, down from 3.4% for 2022. Growth expected to improve to 3% in 2024. The war in Ukraine, inflation and increased energy prices some of the issues facing the world.
Across the pond in the UK, doctors are set to begin a 4 day strike demanding higher pay to deal with rising costs.
Let's go to Asia, where 12,000 American soldiers and 5,000 Filipino soldiers are taking part in military drills. This after China conducted drill near Taiwan πΉ.
Finally in crazy weather, Shiveluch π volcano erupted in Russia, sending ash 20 km high over a large areaπ. In Colombia, the largest volcano is steaming hard and may dangerously erupt at any moment. Despite the warnings some residents have refused to leave their homes. Let's hope for the best and that the damage will be minimal.
So that was Tuesday and I wanna thank you for reading this far π. I truly appreciate your continued support π and love π. Sending back that love π and lots of blessings πΌπ to everyone.
See you again tomorrow on an amazing hump day π. Until then keep stepping and enjoying yourselves to the max π―.That's it, stay safe, take care and good bye πππ HAKUNA MATATA.
