Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome to my report😹. It's the day when Bob claws 🐾 out and invades the blockchain, it's once a week so please bear with him 😻. Anyways glad you stopped by and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been. Here we go again💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a stop at the mall for groceries. After a bit of walking and window shopping, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube and the interesting EPL football matches.
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹.Its been rainy especially this afternoon.
Globally let's begin in Taiwan, where China has began three days of military drill in the Taiwan strait🙀. The PLA announced exercises amid Chinese anger over meeting between Taiwan's president and US house speaker earlier this week. China considers Taiwan a part of it but Taiwan has always wanted to be independent state from mainland China.
Iran trending amid tensions with Azerbaijan.Tehran has warned it cannot ignore what it considers a security threat emanating from growing Azerbaijan-Israel ties.
Tensions between Iran and Azerbaijan have been steadily ramping up in recent months, and divisive incidents have become almost a weekly occurrence🙀.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Friday promised “reciprocal diplomatic action” after Azerbaijan expelled four Iranian diplomats over “provocative actions” it did not name😹.
In Russia, hundreds of people have attended the funeral of war blogger Vladlen Tartasky.
He was killed by a bomb blast at a busy cafe in St Petersburg last Sunday😭.
Finally, lets finish in the US where
Pakistan-born Oscar-winning director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is set to become the first woman and person of colour to direct a Star Wars film.Studio executives on Friday announced three new Star Wars movies are in the making, with the first slated for release in 2025.
