Hello everyone 👋,

TGIF ✨ and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. This week has just flown by and alas the weekend is here yet again😹. As always I am so grateful for this day. It's been wonderful stepping it out 💯, now that it's almost bedtime 💤 let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So I started the day with some brisk walking around the neighbourhood, today was a little warmer than yesterday which motivated me to keep going. Then I was back indoors for some resting and some of the little household chores here and there. Later in the afternoon I had to get something to cook from the shopping centre. Then back home I squeezed in the usual nap before the evening set in. Next came the slow paced evening walking session enjoying the cool breeze🍃. Throughout the day I have been following up on the trending news, that's next.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹, Elsewhere in Rwanda, hotel Rwanda hero expected to be released after 25 year sentence on terrorism charges was commuted👋.
Globally, Deutsche bank 🏦 trending after it's stock prices fell dragging along other European bank shares. I told you yesterday, I don't think we have seen the last of these bank shenanigans 😹. Let them go ahead and print more and more fiat, we all know how it will end.
In France the pension protests kept going. A planned trip by king Charles has had to be cancelled as the country deals with the protests and aftermath 🙀.
Still in Europe, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu was heckled by hundreds of people outside ten downing street as he visited his British counterpart Rishi Sunak 🙀. Israelis are mad at him for the extreme judicial reforms he is bent on implementing.
Let's head to India, political shenanigans 😹 as opposition's Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from parliament after he received a two year sentence for slandering Modi.
He will be appealing that decision.
Across the pond in the US, Trump has warned of potential death and destruction if he is charged 😹.
Finally, president Biden is on his first official trip to Canada where he addressed parliament earlier. Am sure he has lots to talk about with Trudeau.
