Hey Actifitters,
Finally some snow! The forecast had been talking about it for a while and we were getting impatient. But in the afternoon, finally the snow started to accumulate a bit in the yard and the space behind the fence.
Not sure animated gifs work through Actifit, but it was so good to see this, we'll try it:
Not too long later, the yard looked great with this couple of inches layer of fluffy snow. With the temperature around 25F (-4C), it's great quality snow. We'd just need slopes for great skiing!
Of course, in spite of her limping, Kaia had to check it out.
But it's tiring apparently, that's Kaia yawning...
She's never tired for long of course. She found a way to play without putting pressure on her painful leg.
Even Le Chat, who was playing with a box by herself, looked at her as though she was crazy...
Later at night, we decided to test Kaia's leg with a longer walk. We started behind the front yard though, just in case.
She was limping a bit but not when chasing deer!
As i mentioned many times, we like walking in the quiet neighborhood at night, but with the snow, it's even better!
And that was it for the day's activities. Not a great step count, but it's clear Kaia's still struggling, and we didn't want to overdo it. We'll try a bit more over the week end.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
