Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday we used the same trick as often, we went behind the front yard with Kaia, knowing Le Chat would most likely join soon after.
And indeed she quickly arrived and after a little scratching, she caught up with Kaia who was already in the middle of her exploration.
I know I've already shared many similar photos, but it's just funny to me how these two sisters seem to understand each other while inspecting every inch of the area.
Once again, the next step was the forest with Kaia.
Even when we don't find deer (we almost always do anyways), Kaia finds reasons to stay behind. Never very far, just a quick sprint and she's back.
I'm repeating myself but it's so depressing to see the forest like that late December. The weather is warm and of course no snow at all. Winters used to be one of the best Michigan features, but they're so mild now.
Our walk was significantly earlier than usual because the forecast said it was going to rain in the afternoon, and indeed after a few more loops, it started raining lightly. So we quickly finished that last trail and walked back home. Luckily, the heavy rain started later than the forecast mentioned, so we made it back home before.
Rest of the day was spent doing one of my most hated chores: clean the house... It was badly needed, and even though we spent quite some time, progress was barely visible. Oh well, it's okay, we'll continue later.
All combined, that's again a good enough step count to pass the bar in #poprzeczka competition. Still a clean sheet in December! And spoiler alert, I just went for a run and the bar will most likely be cleared on the 28th as well.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
