Hey Actifitters,
My first full day back home was pretty busy. But it started with the deer stopping by the yard to welcome us back. I must have lost my reflexes because I was only able to catch one in photo.
Of course, one of the main task was to pick up Kaia at the boarding place. They told me she had a good stay, but she was really happy to see me! Normally, she's fairly well behaved on leash, especially for the little training time I put in for her (compared to Genepi for instance) but she just dragged me out of there! Back at home with all her toys, she was finally all relaxed!
After a rainy start, the end of afternoon was actually nice with some beautiful sunset lights. I can see it from the backyard now that most of the trees are leaf-less.
These are the last leaves we can find.
It's dark quite early now, so we ended up going for our long walk of the day after nightfall.
Kaia found new obstacles probably caused by wind.
She was full of energy and very excited. After almost 3 weeks, so many new smells to find! Luckily she stayed close and that's a very good thing because my light suddenly died. In complete darkness, nothing better than a German Shepherd to lead the way through the forest!
A couple of long phone calls with the usual pacing were enough to get me a decent step count. I'm back in #poprzeczka competition! I will probably miss the bar on Thursday though.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
