My Actifit Report Card: October 22 2023

Hey Actifitters,

On Sunday, the routine stayed pretty much the same. But like I said a few days ago, a bright sun and blue sky make it so much better!

This time, Kaia had some back up during her patroling: Le Chat helped checking the yard for any trouble.

Very thorough inspection!

But as usual, Kaia took care of the perimeter check herself, just to be sure.

The weather was really great: sunny like I said, but also chilly. Perfect for espressos on the deck, but I needed the insulated espresso cup, to keep them warm longer.

Kaia and Le Chat were still in guarding mode. I feel quite safe from all the critters with these two!

With Kaia getting stronger, I felt we could go for another walk, starting as often near the forest behind the front yard. More and more yellow out there.

Kaia clearly detected something, and wanted to check it out.

It stayed far from us, but I quickly understood what it was. It saw us too.

I thought I still had time to catch the sunset, the trees were still in its light.

So I dropped Kaia home and rushed to a better viewpoint, but once again, it was a gross miscalculation, the sun was long gone behind the trees. The remaining colors were cool though.

And the Moon was already out. Beautiful!

On my way back, I caught a few more of the fall colors. This is really a great season!

Even with nightfall getting close, that last one was so bright!

And that was it for the day's activities. Nothing out of the ordinary, but great weather and vibrant fall colors, and of course the company of my two furry friends, made for a really nice day to finish the week end.
