Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday we tried again to spend a little time in the yard with Kaia, walking that fine line between restricting her activity as much as possible and keeping her sane.
I guess some of her meds also make her tired quickly. So plenty of rest too!
For Le Chat, it's more of a state of mind, she's always kinda sleepy and probably grumpy.
But yesterday, lots of things caught her attention.
It's because we had plenty of visitors, good thing Kaia was mostly inside. First this squirrel got very close. It's the beginning of that season where they're just obsessed with hoarding acorns.
Then this big guy joined the yard party! I followed him for a while, getting pretty close too. But eventually he jumped over the fence and went back into the forest.
The weather was pretty nice at some point, so I also took the time to wander in the neighborhood for a bit, to check on the fall colors starting to appear.
Not a whole lot yet, but soon I think.
Finally, to add a few steps, I walked in the nearby forest.
There were some sun rays, so I hoped I could catch a sunset, but the clouds decided otherwise unfortunately.
I did find some interesting bones though. Not sure what animal it was, too big for a squirrel I think, and not the right teeth. A deer maybe, no idea really...
While I was inspecting it, I didn't notice this deer, very alive this one, was staring at me. I admit I got a bit startled when I saw it so close. It looked at me for some time and just left slowly.
Another day gone with little activity. That's not helping for my running training, but until Kaia recovers, it will probably stay like that most days.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
