Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday weather was just great: sunny but kind of cool, at least for August in the area.
So of course I tried to spend as much time outdoors as I could. Kaia and Le Chat were very happy to join.
That was also ideal to enjoy my afternoon espressos, along with a little cheesecake, on the deck.
Kaia was just relaxing, she just wants to be wherever I am.
On the other hand, Le Chat thought I would not pay attention, and let her steal my cake! She was very wrong of course!
Because of the cool weather, I had also planned lots of activities, including some running for once. But all that relaxing in the backyard, and of course my usual laziness, caused another gross timing miscalculation. When I was finally ready, it was way too late for a run, and we just went for a walk with Kaia. We started in the forest.
Even with her painful legs, Kaia cannot help but running all over the place when we get to the forest.
Final miscalculation of the day: I really thought we had enough time to walk in the forest for a while and still catch the sunset near the golf course. Well, I was wrong again, and we arrived there when the final colors were already fading.
And we finished our walk in darkness much later than planned, even though I didn't even run. Oh well, it was a very good day anyways!
