Hey Actifitters,
On Sunday, with the partly sunny and not too hot weather, I thought about visiting one of the bigger parks. But once again, time was a bit short, especially after I got up so late. So just like the day before, we started with a walk in our usual forest.
Funny how Kaia seems to forget about her legs pain when she's running off-leash in the forest. No more limping!
We walked through some of the trails we don't visit very often.
Kaia did show some signs of getting tired, but still no limping. That's good to see.
And that's when the game of hide-and-seek started with the deer. First this one that luckily I spotted before Kaia could react.
We also checked on Mr Tree. Like I mentioned, I am amazed that he's still standing strong, after all these storms, ice and snow, and everything!
And the second group of deer. So cute how the two little ones stayed behind the one I assumed was their mother.
They were really close, but again when I saw Kaia reacting to something, I immediately put her leash back on.
It seems the really heavy rain and storms destroyed many of the mushrooms, but it's nice to see some are starting to come back.
And just like the day before, after resting for a couple hours, we went for another easy walk to the golf course. However, it was way too cloudy to catch any sunset.
We met another one of the neighborhood cats. This one doesn't look like Le Chat, it's all black. It kept a very close eye on us when we passed it, but it didn't move at all. Cats don't always seem to realize the danger in front of them.
And that was it, the week end was over. We're still trying to stay somewhat active while keeping it light, so Kaia can rest her legs. She still does limp a lot, especially in the evening, but not during our walks. I'll say it's a good sign.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
