The four of us played twenty-seven holes of disc golf today. We played off both the red and green tees on the same course.
On the red course, I came in second with the scores at: +2, +3, +7, and +8. My son came in first on this round. My son and I were struggling a bit and could have scored better. My son was trying to throw some twelve speed drivers and was not controlling them well. He decided to take them back out of the bag for now. I was trying to make some minor form changes and release the disc on a more level angle. It is harder to score well when you are trying out some new ways to throw.
On the red course off the green tee pads, I came in first with the scores at: E, +1, +2, and +4. This was better than I usually play this course off the green tees, and I was happy with the score.
The weather was just a bit on the cold side, but the sun was out with minimal wind and no rain. All in all, it was a nice round and fun to be out on the course with everyone.
A deer that was out on the disc golf course today:
There were a couple of deer traveling together. We also saw a coyote, and this time, he left our discs alone. When we were disc golfing some time ago, he stole one of the discs and dissappeared into the woods with it. I think it was the same coyote, but I'm not sure.
