We played a very rainy round of disc golf this morning. It was lots of fun, and I don't think anyone would have played today if not for the fact that we encouraged each other.
The scores were nothing to brag about: +10, +12, +24. I ended up with the win, but not by much. I was having a difficult time with early releasing the discs. The wet conditions make it hard to get a good grip on the disc, and any flaws in your form seem to get amplified.
It has been good for me to take some time off. This kind of weather is hard to get outside in.
Everyone had a lot of fun today, even with the rain, since we had not played for some time.
I got a nice lightwieght D4 Air Spectrum disc from the used bin for $5 today. I'm excited to try it out. It doesn't look too beat in, but you never know until you throw it. Hopefully, it will replace or be a good backup for my other D4 Air that is getting a bit on the beat in side. I don't know if it is plastic or what, but the flight numbers on the discs are very different. D4 Air Spectrum flight numbers: 12, 5, -2, 2. My old D4 Air flight numbers: 13, 6, -3, 2. I don't know what to expect from the new disc.

It looks like something has been eating them. Maybe that is why the coyoties around here act awfully strangly and play with our discs, lol.
