My friends and I played a couple of rounds out at an easier disc golf course today. I won the first round and came in second in the second round.
I would have done better in the second round, but I missed birdie putts on the last three holes. They were all just outside of my comfort range.
My friend lost a disc in the river today. I offered to go down and try to fish it out with my recovery tool, but he didn't want me to try. It is really muddy this time of year with slick leaves on the path, too. The river was running high enough that there was no place to stand on the bank to recover the disc. Maybe when the river goes down a bit, I will go back and try to get it for him.
