I headed out to the disc golf course to play a practice round this morning. My friend was out there and wanted to play a round, so we did.
We both scored even for the round. It was fairly nice weather without a lot of wind.
Part way through the round, the police showed up with the park employees. I noticed a few tents in the middle of Hole Seven's fairway a couple of days ago and thought that they should not be camping there. Sure enough, the police headed over towards the tents. Nobody was home, and they loaded up the tents without incident and carted them off to parts unknown.
Someone's is going to be not so happy when they get back home. I wish there was a happy ending to all of societies issues. People do need a place to live. Disc golfers need a place to throw without worrying about landing a disc in the middle of someone's tent. It feels like a Greek tragedy in some respects.
