I played a disc golf round at the local easy eighteen-hole course. A friend of mine was out at the course so we played together.
I was tired out yesterday and took the day off. Tournanaments often stress me out a bit, and it takes longer to recover from them.
I had four new discs that I wanted to try out. I won them at the tournament this weekend. The new discs were really nice. I'm not sure about the understable nine speed disc, though. It might be a bit too understable. I need to throw it a few more times to see if it is going to be something I want to keep long term.
I almost threw it on a difficult line with some danger with turning too much and going into the river. My friend was telling me that I need to put my name on the disc so that if I lose it, I might get it back. I said something like if it turns too much, it is probably something that someone else might enjoy more than me. He still said I still should put my name on it so that if I get it back, he could trade me for something I might like better. It made me worry enough that I didn't throw it then. That was probably a good thing because the disc is a bit more understable than I thought it would be, and it might have flown into the river on my first throw. (I've lost new discs on the first throw before).
