I played disc golf today with my friend on a wooded course. I won with a +13 to his +16. It was really close and my friend almost came back with the win. Early in the round, I had a large lead after one of the island holes. It is a difficult island to land on, and I had a lucky throw and parked the disc near the basket. My friend had a miss from the drop zone after missing from the tee.
After the round was over, my friend was missing his car fob. It had fallen out of a hole in his pocket. Neither of us had heard it fall out. We looked around the course but could not find it. I gave my friend a ride to get a spare fob. After that, he fed me lunch.
His son was a bit annoyed with him since the lost fob was for his car that my friend was borrowing.
My friend had had car troubles and his car was in the shop. It sounded like the oil had drained out, and the low oil warning light had not come on.
Anyhow... some extra steps were made looking for the fob, but everything worked out. Hopefully, someone will find the fob and contract my friend. He left a note near the course. Disc golfers are always looking around in odd places, so maybe it will be returned if we get lucky.
Both of us did find some lost discs on the course. My friend made arrangements to return the disc he found. The one I found had come cryptic message on it and no number. I'm not sure what to do with it.
The message was:
This is a Karma Disc. What is lost, may be found. What is given, may be recieved What you do for another You do unto yourself
Let the circle continue. For ALL is connected.
