My son and I played an eighteen-hole semi wooded disc golf course this morning. I won with the scores at +3 to +4. My son was winning during the first part of the round but had a few bad throws in the second par of the round.
One of my friends found one of my lost discs that I like to use on wooded courses. Next week I'm hopeful that we can play together or something. He might just drop it by the course. It will be very nice to get the disc back.
Tomorrow is the first tournament in the Fall League. My son, friend, and I will be playing on the same card. I'm always hopeful to go under par on the course, and I think it is a possibility if I can keep my nerves under control. If not, it is always a good time to play together and the weather should be very nice.
Today, I was mostly playing with my spare discs. I didn't want to lose anything I really liked, but the course has been cleaned up a lot, and I didn't have that much to worry about.
We shopped for new discs after the round, but the store did not have anything we wanted in the plastic type and wieght we were looking for.
