I played a practice round of disc golf out at a difficult eighteen-hole course. I'm still having troubles with a heavy Mamba disc that I've been using to replace the lighter weight pink Mamba I lost. I don't have anything right now that flies the same as the disc I lost. Oh, well.
A friend found one of my lost Wave discs and got that back to me today. I was very happy about that. Now I have three Wave discs that all fly a bit differently. I might want to get a few spare Wave discs since I seem to be prone to missplacing discs.
I found two discs with no name or number on them. They are both lower speed discs that fly very differently. One is very understable, and the other is a flat, low glide overstable disc. They might come in helpful in heavily wooded courses but are not typically the type of discs that I use a lot. It will be fun to try them out some more. They flew nicely today.
Someone loves to get in the creek:
Looking back towards the tee of hole thirteen:
I'm often landing on top of the hill to the right. It is a difficult place to throw out of or even find the disc at times. I might be better off not throwing as far and then throwing over the hill on the second throw.
