I played a couple of rounds of disc golf today in a tourament. It did not turn out as well as I had hoped, and I ended up playing under my rating. Still, it was fun to be out on the course, and I played with a lot of friends who are higher rated than I am.
There were a few distrations on the course. Lots of noise and disc flying around everywhere. I ended up getting hit by a disc near my ankle, but it did not do any lasting harm. It did shake me up a bit for a few throws until it felt better.
I think the hard part was playing with around five hours of sleep. I was watching my son's concert the night before. He did wonderfully, and it was well worth staying up and seeing him play. In hindsight, I might have scedualed in this tournament to close to my son's concert.
Last night, a crow was watching me eat my dinner.
A new way to fly a sign:
Hey, human, feed me.
No, seriously, that looks yummy.
Eventually, you will cave to my desires.
I did, in fact, share a bit of my dinner with the crow. I'm not sure what the best food to feed him was, so I was a bit stingy, lol.
