I played a practice round of disc golf out at the local easy course. I was not too worried about the score and trying a few things that I would not normally do. I ended up with a +4 score, which is about average for me in good weather. (On a good round, I usually go under par on this course in good weather.)
I have a bunch of discs that I don't throw very often that I threw today. I've been trying to get my new D3 discs to beat in just a bit. They are a bit stable for my liking and don't fly as far as the D4 Air and my pink beat in D3 in 500 plastic. So far, I have not hit any trees with the new discs, and I would like it keep it that way. I think that if they more gradually get beat in, they tend to fly better. There is also an advantage to having them be as stable as they are when it gets windy or you need a throw that finishes hard.
