Wednesdaywalk: Early Morning Shortcut Walk

in actifit •  9 months ago

Greetings from Nigeria!🙌

The day started well here with a bright sun which made the environment good for work. I was to go and buy fuel to attend to my work and the nearest fuel station does not have fuel, so I have to go to a far one, which I wasn't ready to take a motorbike but rather, trek it for #Wednesdaywalk.

To make it easier for me, I decided to take shortcuts instead of the main road and this shortcut is a bushy road, it also has cassava farms along the way and I didn't fail to snap and admire the healthy cassava plants as you can see in photos below.

I got to the fuel station after about 20 mins of slow walk, yeah, I was walking slowly. There was no much queue as we usually encountere, so I headed straight to pay first because I'm using card instead of cash. I had to wait for like 7mins before it got to my turn. I paid, collected receipt and went to buy the fuel with the receipt... that's how it's being done there.

Walking back home, I decided to try another route which seemed a little be shorter and it worked out.
I met building construction site, the workers weren't there but there were moulded blocks scattered all over the ground. I passed through the little route created in between the blocks in order not to match the blocks because they looked like they were moulded recently.

I came out to the large road(my street) and walked towards my compound. It was morning, so a lot of people were still inside their houses.

Just getting close to my compound, I met a man riding a local bicycle. I'm sure he was going to farm.
