Our day is going to be spent with our oldest son and his wife. Her family has been invited and we are to converge upon their home around 2 PM this afternoon. It should be a houseful of around 16+ people. I believe we know all but maybe two of them, so it should be a good time.

I know Christine had said she and her mom had gone to Costco earlier in the week to get two of their pumpkin pies. If you’ve never seen them, they are absolutely ginormous! No calories there!😅 Everyone is bringing a dish, so I expect the spread to have a lot of variety.

I’m also looking forward to the fellowship that will happen-seeing folks I’ve not seen for a while. Of course there will be kids so it’s bound to be noisy as well! 😁

As you may have guessed, I’m writing this earlier in the day to post this evening due to timing. I’ll give a full recap of it all tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, I have work for the first time since working for the doc, where we are open the day after Thanksgiving. I’m not too keen on this but don’t have much choice. 😏 Hopefully, the day will go quickly and/or people just don’t show up. 🙃 ( I know, I’m naughty)
