The day was a busy one! We had a fully booked day; the phone rang off the hook and 75% of the time, the caller was asking for me. If it wasn’t the phone, then I had walk in patients asking for me as well. Seemed a bit crazy! 🤪
I was very glad to see the day end. I sure could use a catnap, lol!
Just hoofin’ it brings us to the subject of………………….not hoofin’ around! In the forest here grows the not elusive Hoof Fungus! It is so named as it resembles the hoof of a horse. It grows prolifically on both dead, standing dead and live trees. They are not toxic but unappealing in taste. They also have the name Tinder Hoof as the name indicates, as they are great for starting a fire. Enjoy the pics!
Nature provides! Next time you need to start a camp fire, look for these guys in the forest! 😁🔥
