Rainy Days And Mondays............ NW Cascade Wanderings

….always get me down, but…….

Not today! It was Monday, but it wasn’t raining. I tackled changing the sheets and bedding on the waterbed. It is NOT one of my favorite things to do, as it takes about 45+ minutes to accomplish. IF they made good affordable waterbed sheets, it wouldn’t take nearly as long. I gave up looking quite some time ago when they were selling at $125.00 per set! 😳 That’s just ridiculous!

Once that was done, I did my Bible study and FFL along with a couple online tasks. Then I set about finishing out the Christmas decor. That was when I discovered I needed more poinsettia picks and a couple other items. So, we later in the afternoon set out for the ‘dollar and a quarter plus’ store to get some picks and whatnot.

I found what I was looking for, so afterwards, we crossed the road to our favorite Starbucks for some much needed coffee refreshment! Then we came back home, which is where that first pic is from. A beautiful sunset, which I’ll have another pic similar yet different to end the post.

I found zippered seasonal throw pillow cases.

I’ll do pics tomorrow of the other things.

Of course, I’ve always got ‘shroom pics lately, but I suspect their time will be limited as we had our first and a heavy frost at that, this morning. Our spot is always about 2-3 weeks behind the valley with seasons as it’s protected by the forest canopy. Enjoy!

It’s been a nice day! Tomorrow finds me heading to Bible study. It should be a good one! 😇
