Blinded!............. NW Cascade Wanderings

The sun was shining-what?! After yesterday’s wind storm and rain, I figured we were in for another round. The electricity came back this morning just before we’d planned to get up to go to church. There was a bit of a time buffer built into it for the switching of well and hot water appliances with the genny. It was nice to not have to deal with it!

Church was excellent as always. Pastor Kyle definitely has some fire and Holy Spirit going on! Afterwards, we came home to do a couple of things before heading out to do what I hoped was the last of our Christmas shopping. Grown children can be hard to buy for especially when they give you no gift ideas! 🙄

Starbucks was our first stop today. I needed some sustenance to fuel up for the trip.

Walmart was the first stop. We found what we were looking for and then hit Winco as they have a good buy on a tasty summer sausage that our one son likes.

By this time, the sun was at that spot in the sky that was too low for your visor to work, yet high enough to blind you! That first photo was just such the case.

Sausage purchased, and we headed for home. I’m excessively tired today as I didn’t sleep well last night. Maybe it was because of the power outage-I’m not sure. It just took forever to fall asleep and then I was plagued with strange dreams I now can’t recall much of. 😏

I did find two ‘shrooms from today out near the wood pile. They are of the same variety, but the pics are of two ‘shrooms.

Here’s the ‘shroom I found yesterday.

That’s gonna be it for today. Take care and have a blessed week w! 🙏🌎🙏

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.”
King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was everyone in Jerusalem. He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law and asked, “Where is the Messiah supposed to be born?”
