It is called “Multitasking”
To put simple, multitasking has to do with someone switching task constantly. Multitasking helps you get more things done, where you are paying attention to the meeting as well as getting tasks completed, right?
It's not really simple as it sounds, but very serious and when done wrongly, can kill and/or destroy your productivity.
According to Career Trend, they're some good and important benefits of Multitasking:
✓ Prevents Procrastination - Anyone who multitask will definitely kill the attitude of procrastination.
✓ Increases productivity rate - An organization with an employee who does or practices multitasking would definitely achieve much goals, aims or success.
✓ Saves money - Sometimes you might think of hiring someone to arrange files or paper work for you one specially, while you n phone call with a client. But if you multitask personally, it will save some money for you.
✓ Saves time - If you could combine tasks (multitask) together, doing more than one thing at the same time, instead of doing them one after the other. You'll definitely save time.
