Some arguments have been bubling as to retaining details in photography.
Some photographers haven't still seen the need to retain details in their images.

Details in photography is referred to the natural texture on the human skin.
Contemporary Photograhers have researched on various ways to retain textures.
Here I'm going to talk about my own technique in retaining texture.

Retaining texture starts from the first step of creating your image. That's the shooting process.
Keeping your camera settings right, is the practical approach to retaining textures.
Shooting with an aperture above 6.0 enhances really sharp image with details.

Furthermore, your retouching technique plays a vital role in keeping details intact. While retouching your image, keep your blur radius value not too low, if the aim is to retain details.
Radius above 7.0 is really cool for really sharp images.
Other factors include, your mixer brush properties, Raw Imagine processing etc.

Retaining of details make the images look natural. It still retains the original skin of the person.
Although the aim of editing is to enhance beauty, editors should take to consideration the advantages of retaining textures.
