Who is the Devil?
One of my fathers-in-the-Lord shared a revelation he had that boosted his confidence in Christ at the expense of the devil.
By the way, who is the Devil? The devil is also called Satan, Lucifer. Though, he was one of the angels in heaven who had a beautiful and indescribable mansion until he rebelled against the owner of the mansion who had actually created him - God.

You know what kings of this world do to rebels, if the kings of this world could punish rebels then why shouldn't our heavenly Father do more. Therefore, Satan was sent out of the beautiful mansion into a place of damnation, a place that there is no light but outer darkness, plus lamentation and eternal cries.
You know what? God sent him away with all the angels who supported him. Alas, he went away with 1/3 of the angels in heaven. Thereafter, he vowed to hunt God's children and make them lose access to the mansion above, the same way he lost everything. But do you know that Christ went to the cross for our sakes? He went there to redeem us from the plan of the devil which is to hunt us and take us with him to that total darkness called hellfire.
God forbid! Did I hear you say that? Read along...
My father-in-the-Lord said in that revelation - He was walking in a beautiful, cool, and calm atmosphere. He was walking happily and gallantly until something ahead of him made him take a step backward. However, an invisible hand held him by the hand and began to lead him.
Still seeing what was ahead of him, he refused to move forward but this invisible hand dragged him and made him continue the walk.
What he saw was a lion under a tree. The sight of the lion frightened him, hence, he took a step backward. Who wouldn't be afraid of a lion? He stepped back to avoid being attacked by the ugly lion.
However, the invisible hand held him firmly not minding the animal that was ahead of him.
He continued his walk as he was led. Eventually, when he got closer to the lion, it roared and jumped to attack him, unfortunately, the lion couldn't leave the spot because it was chained.
Hahahhahahahahaha the lion wanted to attack him but it had forgotten that it had been imprisoned, hence it couldn't do anything.
At that point, my Dad snatched his hand from the invisible hand and started walking majestically by himself, it was as if he told the hand to leave him that he could walk by himself.
Wow! The revelation inspires me a whole lot, that is why I took permission from him to share it with you with the lessons I learnt from it.
Imagine the confidence with which he walked after realising that "Satan don fall for gutter...match am, match am."
Here are a few lessons that I learnt from the revelation

1️⃣ Christ went to the cross to save us from the trap of the devil, hence He has bruised the head of the devil. Can a snake without the head harm anyone? No, way! It is powerless.
2️⃣ Though you may still see the body of the snake, yet it had been crushed, same with the devil. When my Dad saw the lion, he was afraid because of the way it appeared fiercely, he didn't know that the lion had been chained. The devil is nothing before you, yes, he might roar just to scare you, but with Christ in you, you should know that the devil is powerless. The devil has been defeated.
3️⃣ Tell me, would he have been able to continue the walk without the invisible hand? The Bible says that "The devil is like a roaring like seeking whom to devour." Can you see the comparison? He is likened to a lion but he is not a lion.
Therefore, once you have Christ, you have nothing to worry about because "He that is in you is greater than he (the devil, the lion...) that is in the whole world. Thus, my Dad was able to walk with the help of the invisible hand that was God's.
Even after that, he bounced back and continued the walk with joy because he knew the lion only made empty threats "gra-gra" and wouldn't dare to do anything because it had been chained.
Dearly beloved, I implore you to prayerfully overlook the intimidations and manipulations from the enemy on your way to victory, he cannot do anything because we already have victory in Christ Jesus...Hallelujah!!!
However, if you make the mistake of not accepting Christ, then you should be ready to be hosted by the devil in hellfire if the trumpet sounds or if death calls. I pray you will not go to hellfire...Amen
Please, I implore you to accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour, then your security is sure.
I hope you understand the revelation and analogy, therefore I expect you to live without fear as nothing will happen to you because Christ is by your side.
I await your testimonies, please share the lessons you learnt from the revelation.
God bless you!!!
Peace
