The UG87 is an URSAlink outdoor LoraWAN gateway which I use to send and receive data packets when I am doing the weather ballon launches.
The one I am using has 3 antenas, some do have one extra antena for wifi but mine has
- The LoRa antena configured ar EU frequency of 868 Mhz
- A Long Term Evolution antena (LTE- 4G)
- A GPS antena
All the antenas has it use cases when sending and receving data packets especially the LoRa 868 antena.
LoRa simply means Long Range Transmission
The UG 87 can receive and send data pakcets across 10 square kilometers of vertical and Horizontal distance.
The images above showed it was pole mounted outdoor at where I live and it is powered by solar panels.
All installed by me.
Now I can use it to send and receive data packets being rest assured I will receive quality signals
When are you going to do the next launch?.
I wanna come around.
