THE ZAPATA - These are some things that you need know about ZAPATA.

Zapata is new community on the blurt blockcahin, founded by @birdinc a cofounder of BLURT. This project is managed by @empato365, who is also a witness on blurt from Nigeria, Africa.

Zapata has a popular meaning which stands for " cobbler" but it also means Revolutionary, and this meaning inspired @birdinc to choose Zapata as the name of project.

Zapata was supposed to be a fork of steem, that would airdrop the steem balances of every steem account at steem block 43,569,969 to them, including that of steem inc, without deprecating any acocunt, also having the same features like blurt, except fees.

Zapata is now a project leveraging on blurt blockchain to build it's comminity.

It starts off as a geat community of hardworking sudents that uses the blockchain technology.

From the meaning of Zapata which is revolutionary, Zapata is going to be a killer app to revolutionize the blockchain industry through social media disruption. That was the plan if it had it's own chain, but then it can still exist as community on blurt blockchain and the planned rewards in upvotes would be given throgh the @gozapata account, funded by the blurt foundation.

Zapata is on a mission to take instragram in Africa's most populated country called Nigeria.

Zapata is going to sponsor 1 student a month with $250 worth of upvotes to the selected student, and the number of candidates that zapata would sponsor with $250 worth of upvotes a month would increase with time as the value of blurt increases.

HOW THE ZAPATA CANDIDATES WOULD BE SELECTED.

Hardworking students would be allowed to compete amongst themselves using the tags #zapata #zapa and #gozapata on their daily posts. Their daily posts should include their morning and evening rituals on their posts and the post itself should be any kind article about their day, school, work etc or any other nice topic to be written with atleast 100 words and their morning/evening rituals attached to the bottom of their daily post. Every student who engages in this activity would recieve 10% upvote on their posts from @gozapata and the selected student based on how much Zapa points they have earned in the last 30 days would be selected.

ZAPA POINTS

ZAPA points is what determines who would receive the $250 upvote

• Zapa points are earned each time a new partcipants joins the network of zapatians on blurt, and then metions your account during their introductory posts as the person who referred them.

• The new participants must fill a google form provided by @gozapata in order to keep tracks of them. So make sure that when you influence your friens to join the zapata community, they should also include your username as the person who referred them.

• Initialy the Zapata team (currenlty @birdinc and @empato365 only) chosed one person @preciousdominic to be sponsored during the first month (september) and would keep sponsoring one student with the highest ZAPA points every month

• Each person you refer to join the network earns you 10 Zapa points

• if the person you referred doesn't post in 5 days acording to the zapata protocol, you will loose 10 zapa points too, this means you must ensure that your refferal stays active in order to reserve your zapa point.

• At the end of every month all ZAPA points would be gone and only the person with the higest ZAPA points would be choosen to get $250 worth of upvotes. Number of people who would be sponsored with the $250 worth of upvotes would as the valie of blurt increases.

• This is more like a montly League competition starting from 6th september 2020. At month end all Zapa points are gone and everyone starts afresh in the next month to earn zapa points and gets choosen.
