The year 2020 began innocently with everyone having one expectation or the other to attain certain height. The Pandemic came in with it's greatest lesson of teaching humanity that we are all in this together. The pandemic gradually is coming to an end in affirmation with the words of
Kate McGahan which gives us hope when she said "I've got some bad news and I've got some goodnews, nothing last forever".
Since development is a sense of rebirth, personal development cannot be overlooked as it separate one from the crowd. Everytime we push personal development aside, we invite personal struggle into our lives which is not supposed to be so.
Seek to develop yourself by knowing who you are and the arrears of your life which you need conscious effort at building. Is it public speaking or communication generally? You need to acquire different skills set/ soft skills to have the required capacity to operate in today’s world. You skills like negotiations skills, communication skills, conflicts management skills, leadership skills, emotional intelligence etc.
We all have potentials deposited in us by God Almighty. These potentials or gifting points to our calling and to our purpose or assignment on earth as humans. So our creator equips us with them for the assignment we are to accomplish. For every assignment, there is an equipment.
The summation of your potentials and your deployment of same determines your capacity in your chosen endeavor.
There has to be a conscious effort on our path to ensure constant fueling of those potentials by way of development.
There's always a tendency towards complacency when we record some progress using our potentials and we tend to feel that we have arrived and create a comfort zone that retards our gifting. We need to always build capacity for future purposes or challenges as life is dynamic and the world keeps changing in form and operation by the day. We need to constantly build on our potentials, so as to develop enough capacity to succeed in life and equally make impact.
