Hello everyone, today I will be telling you how a brand completely changed the smartphone industry. The smartphone brand Xiaomi that launched their first phone Mi 1 in august 2012 that was a direct competitor to Samsung's S3 .
It made a great impact on company’s sales but as it was a new step by Xiaomi in the Indian smartphone industry so people didn’t really wanted to buy expensive phone of some other brand though it costed very less compared to what Samsung was offering. So when Xiaomi launched their Redmi 1s, those who don’t know Redmi was focused for the budget segment so this redmi 1s made a drastic change.
Xiaomi sold a lot of redmi 1s so they were motivated and thought to bring more and more better products. The focus of Xiaomi was to provide the end user with a product that really provides them with the necessary features instead of claiming only one or two things such as tough build quality or camera. They gave a nice design, good build quality and some of the basic necessary features such as a flash module for the rear camera, notification light, proximity sensor, automatic brightness sensor, etc. At that time people didn't get these features as these features were kept for higher end phones by the smartphone companies. So, today we should be thankful to such companies because they brought a healthy competition that in the end helped the end user.
