Think of blame as "Controlling power".
Whoever you blame for your present situation has power to change it (or not).
Don't you think that is too much control to give to someone?
What do you do?
1. Own your situation regardless of what was done.
Acceptance of what was done will help you to make better decision or make an informed decision next time. Don't sweep it under the rug.
2. Ask God for direction and guidance to make course correction.
He knows the way out and the way in. Ask God to help you, comfort, strengthen and keep you. He is willing to help you and He will carry you through.
He said anyone who comes to Him, He will in no wise cast away. He is just a prayer away.
3. Refuse to live as a victim.
Most people are contented being the victim or playing the victim. They enjoy being pitied and the attention they get. They simply love playing the victim card. Victims can't be victors as they will be looking for ways to gather sympathy rather than develop themselves.
4. Make move to get better and do better for yourself.
This is your life and no one would teach you how to live it. Learn from yourself and others and out of that lesson, wisdom comes.
Start where you are, use what you've got, reach out deep inside you and do what you can to be better and have a worthy story to share, to encourage others.
5. Expect miracle along the way.
God is too faithful like that! He is waiting on you to decide that your life is NOT over. He has a box load of miracles. When you are dealing with God, be expectant. He still honours the prayer offered in faith that He is able and allow Him dazzle you.
