Hello all Blurt friends, are you still enthusiastic and productive? I hope that God will always give us all health so that we can carry out activities as usual. Below I will show the photography of insects playing with their partners in one of the wild plants, namely Sida Cordifolia. In my area (Aceh), we usually call it "Bok-bok Cong". I took this photo a few days ago when I was on my way home to take my mother to a garden not far from where I live, the garden is behind Dayah Sirajul Muna, Blang Crum Village.
Then I also found another name of this Insect when I tried to match the photo in my smartphone gallery with google lens, the name is "Dysdercus".
The characteristics of "Dysdercus" or "Bok bok Cong" have an antenna as Indra which is very important in his life, namely as a means of detection and stimulation of enemy interference around him. This animal also has long legs as a means of locomotion. The colors of this insect are red, black and white. These insects are spread in Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, to Australia. Although "Bok bok Cong" can fly, he rarely uses his wings to fly. Because the branches of the leaves where they shelter are so tight that they don't need to fly and we can easily catch them with our bare hands.
For taking pictures I used the Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphone camera and I added a macro lens on my smartphone so that when I took some photos they could be seen clearly and stand out more. For image editing I use the Adobe lightroom application and for some of the results, let's see below, I hope you are all really entertained with the photography that I show on this occasion.
