The word count target for my fantasy novella has been reached! Since my last update, the word count has grown to 22,000 words. The first installment of this novella is quickly nearing completion, but I’m still not done writing the final scene.
There may be about 1,000 words left to finalize the first draft. Since the story’s inception, I’ve learned a lot about proper grammar and formatting for dialogue. It has been a great learning experience, and I’m excited to find an illustrator or possibly use AI image generators to help create a cover for the EPUB version of the book.
The plan now is to continue working on the final scene. February will be filled with some revisions to complete a final draft. From there, I’ll see about offering it for sale on the Google Play store for the standard edition!
