Today, arrived at the site, said a few hellos and started to get dirty quick. Much to do but the most physically demanding part is already almost over. Just one last trench to dig up to lay down 1 inch non-metallic conduit.
Same as these hanging down from the the meter we had installed a couple weeks ago. The next few pictures was just prepping for laying down the pvc and an unraveling of three 6AWG aluminum cable.
On one you can see our teams electrical engineer dusting off where the indoor fuse box will go. Well technically its not fuses but these switches that will go off when too much amps go past the switches capabilities. This is to save your electrical wiring of your house. Not your appliences.
It will prevent your house from burning down too.
But pretty much every one knows what a "fuse box". But that isn't the correct term for it. The correct term is load center.
We ran the wire through the tube using a wire guide and with some strength from two on each side, we got about 18 meters of this cable in and buried again.
We are a team of four. The engineer is my cousin and hired me right away. It isn't the first time I worked for him, but we have been talking about being partners in this business later in life as things progress forward. I really want to see him succeed in his career.
We have been through much together and has really helped me out a bunch since I arrived in Mexico. Wouldn't be here without him.
I aim to keep posting these projects as much as I can, maybe buy them some ice cream to cool their brains working under this desert heat. Or perhaps be able to pay for their lunches at the least.
Maybe these posts will help convince them to get on blurt too. That way I can set them as beneficiaries aswell.
We finished for now. We still have to wire the entire house but theres no second floor, no roof. Just walls.
Cheers everyone

Well that kept you busy for awhile.
Indeed. It took us about 4 hours to complete actually. The sun is pretty gruesome these days here.
