Shower

Remodeling or building a shower can be one of the biggest value adds too a home, but it must be done properly. This week my wife has been watching a lot of property brothers, and other HGTV shows. I have peeked in a time or two, and they always seem to be remodeling a bathroom here or there. Well, I am shocked to see some of the work that goes on in there, and the lack of water proofing the walls. They use a tile backer board, but that is not water proofing a shower. Here is a picture of my shower i am doing. I just built a soap niche, and have water proofed it with red guard. The green stuff is also a water proof material call aqua guard, same stuff different maker.
