I made a personal introduction post already, but I wanted to be sure to make a witness introduction post as well.
Day Job
I am a data analyst for a railroad defect detection company named Sperry. I analyze railroad data all day, looking for problems or potential hazards. I analyze the data in something called a "b-scan", here is what one looks like.
I've been in my analyst position for 2 years now. We have been working remotely due to covid-19, but I will be moving into a Fullstack role once we return back to the office, which should be in January.
Education
My younger years and early teens were spent mostly tinkering around with computers, video games and programming. I first learned how to code on a WebTV, some of you may remember this tech relic from the 90s. I taught myself PERL so I could write bots for IRC chatrooms and I learned how to make web pages on my WebTV. My first computer was a Gateway 2000 with a god awful celeron processor, 64mb of ram, and a 20gb hard drive, and this is when I really took an interest in network security. In college I studied Computer Networking, with a strong focus on sysadmin and network security and recently, I have completed the Fullstack Web Development track at Lambda School. Currently I am still in school, learning Python, C and Blockchain in the Computer Science track of Lambda School.
This is a webtv. I used to love this thing
Vote for praxeaze
I was introduced to @megadrive by a friend of mine and we talked about me becoming a witness for Blurt. I love working with graphene and I have had prior experience building, securing and maintaining witness servers, so I was added to the team and I have been running my witness for about a week now with 0 missed blocks. I am a student, but I know I can add value to this platform with my Fullstack knowledge. I already have some ideas I want to explore, beem adding Blurt to it's lib will definitely help with that. I want to create some cool tools for Blurt that our community can be proud of. Consider casting your vote for me as witness, im a pretty cool guy and I promise I will uphold the position with utmost integrity.
