Hello, Blurters!
This is my official witness introduction post.
Who am I and why Blurt
I am peerchemist, and I'll go by "beerchemist" on this platform because why not. It sounds fun and everyone likes beer. I am in and out all things crypto since ever, since 2013. I work full time in cryptosphere since 2016 and act as project leader of the Peercoin project since 2016. I've come to know Blurt via @jacobgadikian who I've met on one project I am engaged with as advisor. He has successfully "shilled" blurt to me and here I am. I am now learning about graphene based blockchains and running a witness node. And I've never thought I'll be doing that.
I like to write.
I like about technical topics, especially about blockchains. I like to write about philosophy of the blockchain movement.
Usually, I use Medium for this but Medium is turning into a paywalled platform which forces writers like me to set a paywall if we want to be heard. No paywall, no clicks they say. And I do not like that. That is why I think we need platforms like Blurt.
To learn more about my worldview maybe take a look at some of the interviews:

Being a witness
Witnesses are the backbone of the Blurt network of course due to nature of this blockchain. I believe it's important for witnesses to be "in the loop" with everything that happens with the network and I believe I can do that. I am in daily contact with Jacob after all.
So far I have advised core Blurt people about some matters already and I have presented blurt as a solid blogging platform to a quite a few people. I will continue to do so regardless if I am a witness or not.
I am on discord, if you want to chat just drop me a message.
Cu around.
Awesome, Nice to see some new crypto faces starting up witnesses. If Jacob trust your good for blurt than I am guessing you are
my first vote witness in blurt, welcome!
I also write on the philosophy and economics of blockchains - as @rycharde.
Just jumped here to vote!
Oh lala! It is always interesting to open new opportunities and welcome new members, so I welcome you to the Blurt family, and we will toast with cold beer lol.
Also reading you makes me curious to know what is your favorite book? I see that you use the term worldview, which allows me to appreciate that you can observe the complexity of the world and its different views, but I also think you are a visionary of the blockchain, which I find more interesting.
We will have the opportunity to talk, because more than a chain of blocks, we are a chain of human beings who give life to Blurt.
Good vibes.
Hi,
I mostly read non-fiction and there is many of those I really like. If you ask about my fav fiction book that has to be 1984.
Indeed, cu around.
Hey welcome, I have had the pleasure of receiving your advisory regarding exchange listings and look forward to further collaborating with you. You will have my vote, hope to chat again soon.
Just voted for your Witness on @jacobgadikian recommendation.
