How to change Password on BLURT Blockchain.

in witness-discussion •  3 years ago

Blurt is a blockchain-based social media site where users can write posts, share photos and videos with the world, and get rewarded in Blurt tokens.

In the last few weeks, Blurt has seen massive growth where hundreds of new users are joining Blurt and we expect thousands of more users to join us in the next few weeks.

Security is one of the most important parts of your crypto journey and it is always better to change your passwords routinely and many users face issues with changing their passwords.

In this video, I will show how to change your password on Blurt blockchain. Changing passwords is easy and it will hardly take 1-3 minutes.

Below are some tips to keep your account secure:
  1. Never share your master key with anyone.
  2. Always make sure that you are using a trusted front-end like blurt.blog and blurtworld.com for blogging and blurtwallet.com for accessing your wallet.
  3. You can use the Whalevault Chrome extension to avoid using your keys directly.
  4. Make sure to save your keys somewhere safe.

Watch the video to know how to change your Blurt Keyes/password.

P.S: If you face any issues then please ask your questions in the comment section or you can ask for help on Blurt Official Discord server.

I like how you took your time to make this video and also to make it easy to be understood.

It's impressive.

We need to secure our password and we need to duplicate it and save it in multiple places to avoid issues on the Long run.

You have explained it in a easy and simple way. Thank you for sharing much needed information.

Thank you very much for your detailed article and video. Very helpful.

Keep your keys in multiple place and print it out too for your back up.

This will go a long way in helping the new members considering the fact that some of us do account creation for them using blurt.

Possibly one of the most important topics one should be educated on. It would be awesome if there were a pin or quick link for all to always have this valuable information quickly accessible. Especially with so many coming here through third party creation services, it's important that they immediately change their passwords and make sure that the service in question did not name themselves an account recovery account.

Thank you.
