First, thank you for this tutorial. I appreciate the effort you make to simplify different processes as many like myself aren't crypto enthusiasts and often find much of the structures required quite daunting.
I do have a question I hope you can elaborate on.
Many exchanges such as Coinbase and Probit etc have horrible reviews. To many in fact when it comes to allowing buys but when one goes to withdraw suddenly issues arise.
I noticed that like Coinbase the reviews are horrible on TrustPilot.
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/probit.com
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/coinbase.com
Years ago I hesitantly used Coinbase for three buy ins so I could purchase some Steem. Worried each time they would just keep my money as so many have experienced.
My question is this.
Do you know of any way to facilitate the return of ones funds when they decide to do this to you? There appears no regulatory agency that one can appeal to as this has been ongoing for years with no agency stepping forward to protect consumers. Despite all the hoops we must jump through for KYC AML compliance supposedly to protect us.
It really comes across as they care very little about our protection and just want to make sure we can be tracked like animals. That when the organizations claiming to need this to protect us are the ones we need the protection from it makes many like myself wonder if its worth the hassle of KYC just so they themselves can steal from us as they also have all this information on we had to give they can also sell and trade as well.
Hi, reviews can be often manipulated. Sometimes i had a nice experience with products having bad reviews and bad experience with good reviews as they are promoted ones
And yes, issues can arise with transfer and withdrawal, but that's because of blockchain RPCs. Sometimes they host their own, sometimes they use official RPCs . So sometimes it become difficult to keep it going.
Sometimes it takes like eternity to work back and sometimes there are smaller issues which are easily fixed.
But one should be able to contact via chat/email support with additional phone call support. But i like the first one more over the call.
I also had experience with ionomy and my tokens were stuck for almost 5 days but they were back.
Also, it depends on popularity of token as well community. They give priority to popular ones.
Thanks
I think we are treated differently at these exchanges than those outside of the U.S.
I've witnessed many exchanges ban people from my country because of how heavy handed my government is with crypto and always passing new laws making it impossible for one to plan correctly.
It seems to me from my examination of reviews it's a majority of U.S. users being denied access to their crypto once they buy it. And the flimsy excuse of KYC often holds no merit as to buy in for years now one has had to provide this (in Coinbase anyway) and the KYC was fine enough to buy in. Especially if one used a bank or card that one has had for years and already was KYC from the bank itself.
There is at some point going to need to be a much easier way to buy in and cash out before there is any level of mass adoption made.
Hi, I believe you panic a lot, but it's not like you are completely wrong. Here in India too, we have some issues.
Even sometimes noncryptos, mobile banking apps do freeze accounts with funds. and with no way to recover those funds.
This can happen with anyone in any country.
But also that varies from one user to another user. So, I can only say, one should use one that provides him/her a good service over what it provides to anyone else or the community.
Remember my friend, for each closed door, there are always two or more open doors.
Thanks
I don't think it's unwarranted to be cautious when the one star negative reviews are around the 80% range. I can't speak for Probit but in the case of Coinbase they scrubbed many thousands of one star reviews from when I used them years ago, so in their case it would be in the 90% area.
And for what its worth, I dont use banking apps either, lol. I avoid apps when given a choice. As an example I was looking for a grammar app and the ones for Firefox demand the ability to track all websites one visits. Such as this one (and they all want to do this).
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/languagetool/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search
I used to use Microsoft office for self publishing. A few years ago they introduced new agreements basically allowing them to collect and monitor my use of my Office Professional software. Any use deemed unsavory by them would allow them to disable the software.
Preferring not to participate in their collection and agreed upon analyzing of my use of their product, I uninstalled it from my computer and now use a free office program that isn't tracking (at least demanding i agree to it) my every keystroke.
I can't say about where you live, but in my lifetime I've witnessed what was almost unlimited privacy and freedom to almost no privacy or freedom. And with this loss comes to much control over us, such as the seizing of funds with little to no recourse when one of these exchanges do such a thing. Not that I trust banks, but one does have agencies one can go to if they tried pulling the crap these exchanges are pulling.
This is a really helpful information, I appreciate .
Thanks for the tutorial, it is really helpful

Two questions came to mind:
Is there any advantage of using Probit over ionomy?
How do we send Blurt to Hive engine for swap Blurt? I forgot.

Thanks again for another tutorial. I am gonna make a new page somewhere or a hosted service for these exclusive articles.
thanks for the steps by step information..
Very informative and educating guide on how to deposit and withdraw blurt on the probit wallet. With this, both new users and Old users alike now have clear information. Blurt more and Blurt with pride.
It’s rather unfortunate the withdrawal takes so much time when you’re doing a large BLURT withdrawal from Probit. I found out the hard way(bought 10,000BLURT)and it was unpleasant. If I needed to beat my BPUD deadline(which I needed to) I was lucky enough that it only took a day and some hours to reflect in my BLURT wallet.
Thank you for sharing. But it looks like it takes a whole lot of processes to withdraw.
Thanks for this information. A big help for me. As I don't know the process of withdrawal.
Nice tutorial, thanks
Thank you for the information.
It was very helpful
Thank you for sharing this important notice step by step.
Thanks for kindness
Thank you for this. I am new to blurt and I am ove to see content like this to help newbies like myself.
why is the waiting time so long sir?
I once sent with a memo address (by mistake). The transfer from probit to blurt account is very fast.
Very happy to have found this. Did not realize the username was the wallet address. Transferring back to ProBit for trading is simple enough with the required memo. Thank you for the detail. 👍
