It's been a few months now since we started our own front-end for Blurt called Blurt.Live
It is working well and it is one of the most reliable frontends right now.
A few days ago I paid the server fees and they are still affordable. I dread the day when the costs will be high and I might not be able to pay.
As of now we are setting up a new Google Analytics setup for Blurt Live and soon we will have live data to see how many users are using our front-end.
Apart from that I am also very interested in finding ways to bring some revenue so that the server costs will be bearable and we will have some money with us to pay developers and bring in more features.
Do you know any way we can earn some revenue?
I have spent a great deal of time with @Kamranrkploy, @Tekraze and @ZahidSun discussing future plans for Blurt Live front-end.
We have made a list of things that we plan to do and I'm excited for this new phase.
I'll share more ideas and plans with you guys soon.

I would like to see you succeed at having your front end paid for by witness fees and possibly other server services.

We have a lot of plans and eventually we will implement them all.
As of now I do sell some of my Blurt to pay but in future I want another source of revenue so that we don't sell much Blurt.

I love this. I struggle to use blurt on my phone often times I can’t post anything or comment. This actually fixed it for me so thanks and it’s quicker I’ll be using live a lot

I recommend the blockchain ads platform https://adshares.net to get revenue pays ADS currency https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/adshares/
I specially recommend this because they don't do fraud publicity to small publishers they can always withdraw even if is a few cents in comparison whit platforms whit a 100 USD minimum or something like that
That looks like a good alternative to AdSense. I will do some research on it and see how it works and if it will be profitable for us.

It took some hours, but it's loaded now. I noticed some other avatars were greyed out too when they weren't usually.
Congratulations! each innovation excites us and fills us with hope to continue with strength this great project.
Let me know when I can live stream via RTMP or better yet, make a API for streaming altogether so its safer than the competition.

I started using Blurt-live instead of blurt-blog because there were so many glitches and I'm happy to say it has worked perfectly for me since then. maybe you could make money from delegations or simply update posts like this one?

Blurt Blog gets a lot of users and it sometimes lags and can end up with issues. We get a small amount of users so it works fast.
I would be happy if people Delegate to us. And I will think of writing weekly reports.
The price of Blurt is stable now and it is good enough to sell and pay for everything. But I am planning to hire developers and build a better front-end. It will cost some money but let's see how it all works out.

Thankyou for building it. IN my experience on many other sites I've found the more complicated it gets the slower it gets so my humble advise is to keep it simple. FYI the avatar thing was a disaster for me, crashed my page, loading was very slow and it took up too much space.
We'll try to keep it simple. And I always want our sites to be faster as it increases user experience and increases engagement.

Yes, to some extent the volume of users sometimes makes Blurt.blog slow.
There are days when thousands of users use Blurt at the same time and it sometimes slows the website.
But Blurt developers are always active so they get it back up faster everytime.
