Blurt will never have a Down-vote button.

Since my last post a few people have been asking if Blurt will have a downvote button and I think it is better to put these thoughts to rest.

Blurt's USP is that it is neutral and censorship free. The Blurt foundation and the team value everyone's right to share their opinions freely without the fear of being attacked with downvotes.

Nope. Never

I don't think blurt needs downvotes. It is the foundation idea for the chain. I think that was one of the core reasons @megadrive had in mind.
Blacklists and abstention from voting is good enough to deal with abusers (at least for the meanwhile). . Every step requires a liquid blurt fee so we don't need downvotes to "burn" blurt either.
