Greetings!

A user under the name of @sagarkothari88 has shared a post explaining how one of our curators is currently abusing our curation tool via self upvoting. So we thought about writing this post to avoid having our curators falsely flagged and targeted in the future solely based on this.

First of all, we would like to thank the above-mentioned user for pointing out a potential breach of trust as we are always happy and open to receiving feedback from the community.

Second, not to denigrate other concerns that were shared, but we would have wished to be directly contacted first as the explanation for the self-reward is much simpler.

Every curator that we are working with is well aware of this rule. Our curators are simply allowed to add their posts as a reward for their efforts instead of voting them directly and automatically.

In light of what was mentioned in the post shared above. We have added some additional guidelines to keep things tight, clean, and more regulated.

Sometimes, the answer is simple. People just need to communicate. We highly encourage all members of the community to directly reach us on Discord regarding anything related to our work.
