Thriving through a Symbiotic Equilibrium
Symbiont{s} | Combined Proposals Initiative
Greetings!
We mentioned before that we are completely against removing the Return Proposal as it constitutes a breach of trust and what we believe in because, at the end of the day, everyone must play by the same rules that are governing all of us on this chain. However, we are as well within our rights to operate within these rules without breaking any blockchain fundamentals. To have a more in-depth background on what we are referring to here, consider checking our previous post for more information.
We have always made sure to be 100% open to feedback from the community. Critics are always welcome. In fact, critics are what shaped some of the aspects of the projects that we are operating, such as JoinBlurt. Expecting something to be 100% bulletproof would be foolish. Hence the importance of active feedback, since having different points of view based on different backgrounds is a key component of the ultimate user experience. After meticulously following the current DAO-related situation, it appears to us that the DAO was not locked out for concerns related to the quality of the work that was being provided, but rather for political reasons to leverage the last lair from which the community could be hurt or to pressure parties that we have no relation to.
In light of what happened, we have decided to create a combined proposal and merge both proposals that were funded before. We will ensure that all parties get their fair share if the proposal were to be funded. If you are unaware of the proposals in question, you are invited to visit them from here and here.
Furthermore, we would like to use this opportunity to ask our generous supporters to switch their votes from our proposal and @eastmael's proposal to this new proposal. It is the only way for the community to triumph without breaking any blockchain fundamentals. A community that is cornered could become desperate and make bad decisions. This is why we are here to ensure that whoever is wishing for the community to make mistakes to further a specific narrative is eventually going to lose. Blurt has a lot of hardened and veteran users who are not new to blockchain, and they are well aware from past experience how the community could be weaponized by either pandering to the poor or spreading misinformation. This, of course, does not matter in the big picture, as the truth does affect the fact that an account with x stack can still have y influence. But it surely plays a role in making Blurt a good experience and a pleasant space for everyone since Blurt is a social blockchain.
- Some members of the community (most notably @ctime) have boldly suggested that funding, especially for the symbionts proposal, should be capped at 30$ per month. While we are 100% open and encourage accountability, we are against propositions that could be seen as sarcastic. They are unprofessional and do not play any role toward a fruitful discussion or conclusion. We, however, invite anyone who can dedicate themselves to H24 maintain availability, provide support, manage servers and API nodes, and play part in active development (PHP, Python, JS, MySQL, and well versed in Steem-based forks API) for less than what we are asking for to please reach out to us. You will be hired immediately. We would also like to invite @ctime to point us to the people who can do the same job for 30$ per month, which equates to 0.1$ per hour at current market price. The only reason why we are not charging labor based on the actual average per hour for developers is that we are aware that this is not a realistic approach considering the current price of BLURT. We also enjoy the community, and we are not only here to siphon funds from the DAO.
In the end, the community will and should always triumph. Will will make sure that this is always the case.

The Symbionts Team,
is Ecosynthesizer open-source? Great tool BTW
Hi, @nalexadre
All of our projects on Blurt are open source with the exception of the explorer since its code is heavily intertwined with other projects as well. But we are definitely working toward it.
Thank you for passing by,
Thanks for your answer
yeah, show the code for both apps ecosynthesizer and joinblurt or go away

Hi,
Without due your respect, you can not have it both ways.
We have tried to communicate with you and you had ample chances to ask questions and share your ononcerns with us, and we would surely have given you all the time you needed. Yet, you only deemed us worthy of your attention when the community finally triumphed.
Accusing us of carrying out illegal activities to damage our reputation is disrespectful and a red line that we will not tolerate. So unless you find the mental strength to withdraw your blatant and unsubstantiated accusations, we will unfortuntly no longer be willing to discuss anything with your person.
Thank you,
It looks like it has worked.
community wants to see the code, saying apps are open sourced and not showing the code doesn't make them open sourced
